On October 5 four-time GRAMMY-nominee and Verve Music Group recording artist Ledisi sat down with super-producer Chucky Thompson (Notorious B.I.G., Usher, Raheem DeVaughn) and Washington, D.C. Chapter members to speak openly about her journey through the music industry thus far. Up Close and Personal with Ledisi, held at the historic jazz venue Bohemian Caverns, gave insight into Ledisi’s creative process, her journey from an indie to a major label, and the balance that comes along with being an artist and an entrepreneur.
