On Wednesday, June 9th, the Chicago Chapter hosted our 8th annual Chicago Bluesfest Kick-Off Jam at the beautiful new Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago. The star-studded event included an exciting array of nationally and locally renowned artists who covered blues classics as a tribute to the city’s rich musical legacy.
We took a few moments in the green room during the show to talk to the artists and hear why they thought Chicago was the home of the blues. Here’s what they had to say!
