The San Francisco Chapter invites Northern California high school students to attend the GRAMMY Foundation's annual GRAMMY Career Day at San Francisco State University on Jan. 13.
GRAMMY Career Day is a national outreach program of the GRAMMY Foundation offering high school students an overview of the career possibilities and opportunities in the music industry. This conference will allow students to learn firsthand from industry professionals about working in the industry. The program reflects the diverse paths available in the music business including recording artist, producer, lawyer, manager, and engineer, among others. Professionals representing various genres of music and inclusive of the fields of film, video games, media, and live music will teach interactive workshops in their line of work allowing students to gain knowledge applicable to future careers.
