GRAMMY U: Speakers Series with Caroline Burruss

On November 17, 2011, Texas GRAMMY U will be hosting a GRAMMY U Speakers Series with the Director of Business Development for Austin City Limits Live, Caroline Burruss, to learn about her career in the music business. Burruss oversees sponsorship, premium seats and content for ACL Live. Prior to Austin City Limits Live, Burruss was the Vice President of Venue Sponsorship where she sold and executed sponsorships for Live Nation Amphitheatres, House of Blues and Clubs in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Alabama and Louisiana. Burruss oversaw an annual budget of $8 million for the region. Prior to Live Nation, Burruss was one of the founders of ROTHBURY festival in Michigan, ChickClick.com and Revolution Promotion Management. Burruss is also currently filling the end of an Associate Member Governor's term for the Texas Chapter of The Recording Academy. Students will have the opportunity to ask Caroline questions about her journey in the music industry at the end of the Speaker Series seminar.
