American University GRAMMY U Open House

GRAMMY U held an Open House at American in the Mary Graydon Center.  The event featured Treble In Paradise, AU’s premiere all female a-capella group.  Treble In Paradise performed three songs, and between each song, GRAMMY U Representative, Alessandra Conti, and GRAMMY U Campus Representative, Juliette Blank, spoke about the benefits of being a GRAMMY U member, and how students could become more involved with the music industry here in Washington, D.C.

Alessandra and Juliette shared their personal experiences with GRAMMY U, and highlights of their membership.  Juliette recalled her first GRAMMY Camp - SoundChecks event with Jason Mraz and Colbie Calliat. Juliette recounted how she was so excited to meet two of her idols and to be able to ask them questions about their career path.  Alessandra discussed the variety of connections that she has made through GRAMMY U, and how it is helping prepare herself for graduation.

After the presentation, Treble In Paradise invited the crowd to gather on the quad for a performance for the rest of campus.  On the quad, Juliette and Alessandra continued their conversation about GRAMMY U, inviting the campus to learn more about the benefits of membership.

Special thanks to the American University Career Center for co-sponsoring the event!
