PNW: 2012-2013 Newly Elected Officers

The PNW Chapter Board of Governors recently elected new officers! Please welcome newly elected Vice President, Lisa Grace and newly elected Secretary, Charles R. Cross. Chapter President, Jeff Heiman is mid term and will continue to lead the new class of PNW Chapter elected leaders.

Lisa Grace

Lisa co-creates and performs the highly successful "Let Your Music Shine" program for many symphonic organizations including the Seattle Symphony. Lisa demonstrates her talents as composer and film editor in her numerous award-winning CD’s/DVD’s for tots.  Lisa is also one of the most sought-after Seattle area voice coaches and her students perform at many Seattle venues including The 5th Avenue Theatre and Seattle Opera. Lisa’s mission is to inspire the unlimited potential of every person through music.

Chalres R. Cross

Charles R. Cross is the author of seven books including bestselling biographies of Kurt Cobain and Jimi Hendrix. Heavier Than Heaven, his Cobain biography, won the ASCAP Award for Outstanding Biography in 2002. Cross was Editor of The Rocket from 1986 through 2000, chronicling the rise of the Northwest scene. He has written for hundreds of newspapers and magazines, from Rolling Stone to the Seattle Times. He is a longtime advocate that Northwest music deserves greater political and historical recognition as part of our cultural heritage. He has previously served as board member, and chapter secretary.
