Aug. 19 marked the second year GRAMMY U has partnered with the Society of Leaders in Development for Job Shadow Day. Thirty college students from Belmont University, Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee State University, and Vanderbilt University were paired with an industry mentor based on their individual career aspirations. Mentors from companies such as BMI, CMT, Curb Records, SESAC, Warner Bros. Records, and various publishing and artist management companies spent a morning sharing the details of their professions with students. Afterward, all 60 participants gathered for lunch at ASCAP.
