On Friday, April 13, 2012, 40 GRAMMY U students had the rare opportunity to go inside the famous Village Recording Studios. Owner and Los Angeles Chapter Governor, Jeff Greenberg, let GRAMMY U invade the studios to learn more about the history of the building, what projects the Village is famous for, and the technical aspects of each studio.

Jeff and Studio Manager, Tina Morris, led students on an exclusive tour inside all of the studios, including secret rooms and newly constructed spaces.  At the end of the tour, students hung out in legendary Studio D to hear advice from Vintage Trouble, an up-and-coming band, and Ed Cherney, a GRAMMY-winning producer/engineer.

The students, who fought Los Angeles rain and traffic, had a wonderful time, so much so that the event ran an hour over! Thank you Jeff Greenberg, Ed Cherney, Vintage Trouble, Tina Morris and the staff at The Village Recording Studios for making this event such a success!
