Los Angeles - GRAMMY U: GRAMMY Camp - SoundCheck® with Fun.

          On Saturday, March 27, 2012, 20 high school students and 15 GRAMMY U students had the exclusive opportunity to attend the GRAMMY Foundation’s GRAMMY Camp SoundCheck with the newly popular band, Fun. The student’s waited anxiously outside the Glass House in Pomona, CA to get to see Fun.’s SoundCheck.

          Once inside the venue, students were at the front of the stage listening to Fun. perfect their performance. The student’s eyes and ears could not be taken off of the stage as Fun. performed “Some Nights,” “Carry On,” and their hit single “We are Young.”

          After the soundcheck was complete, the students and band members had time for Q&A. Fun. talked about how they found a career in music, what life is like on the road, and how they have felt about their recent success. The band members, Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost, and Jack Antonoff, also gave some words of advice for the students who aspire to be in their shoes one day. The word fun could not have been used enough as this was such a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
