The HANG with Harman at Sound Stage Nashville!


Nashville recording professionals gathered to hang with Harman Professional brands AKG, JBL and Lexicon on Tuesday November 15 at the newly redesigned Sound Stage studios in the heart of Music Row. Attendees enjoyed small bites and cocktails while participating in live listening demonstrations using the latest products and technologies from the Harman Professional brands facilitated by Peter Chaikin, JBL Director of Recording and Broadcast and Joe Wagoner, Product Manager, AKG USA. P&E Wing Steering Committee member and Nashville P&E Wing Co-Chair Chuck Ainlay was on-site to kick off the evening, introducing vocalists Cherrill andBetsey Long, and guitarist Jim Long. Attendees participated by operating AKG K271 MKII headphone stations set up in Front Stage to toggle between different models of AKG microphones. In Back Stage, engineer Brandon Schexnayder demonstrated the Lexicon Native Reverb and Effects Plug-Ins. Playback for both demonstrations could be heard on the JBL LSR 6300 monitors set up in the control rooms of both studio spaces.
