From his hits as an artist with the inimitable band Was Not Was, to his productions for artists including The Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, The Black Crowes, Willie Nelson, Solomon Burke and Cheb Khaled, among many others, to his current position as Chief Creative Officer of Blue Note Records, the long-running jazz label and home to Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis and Norah Jones, Don Was is revered for his musicality and his ability to bring out the best in everyone he works with.
